CHIROPRACTIC

PreNatal
As your baby grows throughout pregnancy your body continues to change causing a shift in your center of gravity which can alter your spinal biomechanics. These changes often lead to low back, hip, pelvis and rib pain. Chiropractic adjustments and soft tissue therapy safely and effectively help reduce your discomfort by restoring balance throughout your spine.
Treatment throughout pregnancy, specifically Webster Technique can also help make labour more comfortable as a balanced pelvis promotes and encourages your baby to be in an optimal position for delivery.
Postnatal
Chiropractic care after pregnancy can be beneficial for so many reasons as gentle adjustments can help restore the balance of the pelvis thus decreasing pubic, buttocks and hip pain. Aches and pains through the upper back and neck from nursing and carrying your new baby can also be addressed with chiropractic treatments.
Along with adjustments and soft tissue therapy, your chiropractor can recommend specific rehabilitative exercises to regain core musculature strength.
