Aleks Thornton PT, BSC, MSC, CMT, CGIMS
Aleks Thornton has teamed up with Fallingbrook Wellness since 2018 to provide physiotherapy, Gunn IMS dry needling, whockwave services and much more. As a natural born go-getter, Aleks passion has continuously driven me to expand his knowledge, experience, and relationships. This lead him to become an internationally trained manual physiotherapist and UBC trained Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation practitioner. Having completed a Masters of Rehabilitation Science in Glasgow, United Kingdom, he also holds a Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from University of Guelph and currently is attaining a 5 year certification in Osteopathic Manual Practice from the oldest Osteopathic College in Canada, The Canadian Osteopathic College of Canada (CCO). In addition to typical physiotherapeutic approaches, manual therapy, manipulation, cupping, dry needling (GIMS), exercise prescription and education, Aleks has knowledge in traditional physiotherapy and a unique holistic approach which may include elite team work with a network of therapists, physicians and practitioners.
